Applications open: 2 February 2015
On 2 February, Fundación Botín launches the 23rdedition of its Arts Grants and the 11th edition of its Curatorial Studies Grants, the application periods for which will finalise on 30 April and 8 May, respectively.
The Art Grants, which are international in scope and have considerable projection, are aimed at helping artists of any nationality in training, research and personal projects in the sphere of artistic creation. The chosen artists will conclude their scholarship programme by taking part in our Itinerarios exhibition, featuring work produced during the grants period, to be held at Fundación Botín in Santander, and with the publication of a catalogue raisonné.
Persons aged 23 to 40 may apply for a training grant, and there is no age limit for research and personal projects. The grants are worth 16,000 EUR when there is no change of country of residence, and 24,000 EUR if completing the scholarship programme implies relocating to another country, to cover travel, accommodation, living, studio rental and other expenses.
