CFC Members Quiz is a series of weekly online events on Instagram Live in which we introduce CFC Members to our digital audiences. Through this new format, we aim to spotlight Members of our community, showcase the diversity of their curatorial interests and specialisms, and facilitate new networks of influences and potential exchanges.

Ayca Okay (b. 1991, Izmir) is an AICA (Association Internationale des Critiques d’Art) and CIMAM (International Committee for Museums and Collections of Modern Art) member independent curator, researcher and arts & culture professional lives and works between Istanbul and Berlin. She gave strong emphasis to research-based curatorial projects by cultivating intellectual resources, sharing knowledge and creating sustainable support systems.She believes in the value of generous listening during collaborating with people, collectives and institutions. Okay aims to produce unique discourses on contemporary problems and go beyond the artificial limits of the contemporary art sphere via seeing art as the art as a bi-product of certain processes such as thoughts, ideas, texts, theories and experiments.

She was chosen to be an ambassador of Culture and Thread Program run by IKSV and UNESCO.She has numerous articles published in publications such as StirWorld, Milliyet Sanat Magazine, Artfulliving Magazine, Posta Newspaper.She continues studying International Curatorial Program (ICP) in NODE Center for Curatorial Studies in Berlin.
