Applications now open for Tate Intensive 2017
Tate invites applications for the next edition of Tate Intensive, held in the new Switch House at Tate Modern, on the 9-14 July 2017.
Brought together in a spirit of exchange and collaboration, Tate Intensive participants will be asked to make specific contributions to discussions during the week, drawing on their own experience and case studies from their respective organisations. Keynote speakers will include members of Tate staff, representatives of the Plus Tate network of UK visual art institutions, and other leading museum professionals and artists. Daily visits to exhibitions and collection displays at Tate Modern, Tate Britain and other London cultural institutions complement discussions held at Tate Modern.
Tate Intensive comprises up to 25 selected participants from around the world. We are actively seeking a diverse range of professionals working in art galleries, museums and other cultural institutions at different stages of their careers in a wide range of countries. This intimate group of culture professionals is encouraged to share knowledge and exchange ideas concerning their current practice, as well as discussing new approaches to curating, programming, audience development, governance and digital technology. Participants join an ongoing network with potential for future collaborations.
