This Assistant Curator will be part of the cross-site Adult Programmes team of twelve people and will contribute to maintaining its position at the forefront of local, national and international practice in the delivery and variety of its programmes. The purpose of the job is to provide support for Tate’s Adult Programme to ensure that events are delivered on time, to budget and to a high standard.

The post holder will support the Adult Programme strategy with a clear focus on Access and Diversity remits. The post holder will be critical to delivering the programme, providing support for running and developing the programme with the team and will contribute to assuring the outstanding quality of the team’s programmes and other activities. This job involves weekend and evening working when we are delivering events.

You will be a graduate, or equivalent, with excellent knowledge of art. You will need to have experience of working with Access and Diversity programmes. A creative, flexible approach and proven organisational skills are essential. You will need to have the ability to work well under pressure and a collaborative approach to teamwork.
