Creating Social Media Content for the Arts: 2 Day Workshop
with Boudewien Chalmers Hoynck van Papendrecht
How to synthesise an amazing-yet-complicated art exhibition into one catchy social media post? How to create content for months about a single art piece? How to capture your audience’s attention and keep them engaged?
This hands-on workshop will address the challenges of creating social media content for the arts. Whether a text update, a photo, graphic, video or link, we will learn how to make the most of social media’s different tools in ways that are brief, exciting and relevant.
This workshop is guided by Boudewien Chalmers Hoynck van Papendrecht, she is the founder of the social media strategy consultancy for the art world –Bubble Shooters Network– and the former head of social media for the Van Gogh Museum, where she developed the highest engagement of any art museum in the world.
Over two Fridays (3pm – 7pm Berlin Time CET), we will focus on creating inspiring content for social media. What is required of a social media post? What are good examples and what are not?
