Online course by Node Center. Curatorial Procedures: Contracts, Loans and Official Documents.
with Marc LeBlanc
Application deadline: Sep 9th 2014
This weekly seminar is intended to familiarize young curators with some of the most common contracts and forms used when assembling exhibitions – customs declarations/pro-forma invoices, gallery consignments, and museum/biennale loan agreements. The course is an ideal primer for anyone looking to found their own project space or is making their initial exhibitions as an independent curator. The course will supply a number of examples, going over each one in detail, as well as draw from recent texts and periodical articles that highlight the ramifications for such documents in contemporary art.
*Online material available 24/7 during the duration of the course and 4 weekly video-conferences every Tuesday at 7pm Central European Time
