Week 2: A strong case for support: writing a convincing proposal

  • Researching funding organisations, trusts and foundations
  • Developing the project and the case for support
  • Writing a good proposal: research, content and format
  • Follow up and reporting

Week 3: Corporate Fundraising

  • Researching, identifying and cultivating corporate supporters
  • Asking for support and abiding by fundraising essentials (legal issues, ethical compliance, etc)
  • Ensuring value delivery for the corporate partner

Week 4: Individual Giving

  • Different methods of individual giving: case studies
  • Identifying and cultivating donors
  • Establishing a donor experience
  • Donor stewardship
