As public funding for arts and culture is becoming increasingly scarce, many organizations as well as individuals working in the creative industries need to raise funds from various other sources. This course offers essential guidance to those looking to secure funding including sponsorship and individual donations for exhibitions, education programs, public events and so on. In this course you will learn the key elements of identifying potential sponsors, donors and partners as well as writing a convincing proposal. To do so, we will explore a number of case studies and class discussion will be encouraged.
