Node Center for Curatorial Studies is looking for a motivated Marketing Consultant to create a new marketing strategy for the organisation.

Node Center is an organization focused on curatorial practice. It comes in two parts: an online platform with unique e-learning courses related to art and curating (courses in English and Spanish), and a research program based in Berlin, the ‘Innovators Grant’, designed to explore how thinking and strategies used in the arts can be applied for innovation in other fields.
We are looking for someone enthusiastic with proven marketing experience to set up and implement a new publicity strategy for how best we communicate Node Center and its activities.
Tasks: Set up a new marketing strategy for Node Center
Objective: To create/provide a comprehensive strategy that can be implemented long-term by the whole Node team.
This will include
- Improving our newsletter – clear and catchy language, thinking of creative approaches to engage audiences and provide useful and interesting content.
- Developing a social media strategy
- Suggesting how we communicate our activities, courses and who we are
- SEO
- Evaluating Google Analytics and making a diagnosis
- Searching for and suggesting advertising platforms
- Making templates that the team can follow to continue to implement the marketing strategy long term
Criteria
- Experience in marketing for young companies
- Degree in Marketing and Communication
- Knowledge of the art and curatorial field
- Familiar with art audiences
- Language: English
- Ideally but not mandatory: Spanish
- Dynamic, motivated, creative and enthusiastic.
- Ready to rumble
*The position will work closely with the Node team -to develop a marketing approach that will be both effective and manageable long-term.
