Managing Director

Opportunity type:  Full-time, Permanent
Working hours: 40 hours per week
Salary: £65,000 – £70,000 per annum depending on experience
Location: Clerkenwell, London with some remote working supported
Hours: 40 hours per week 10am to 6pm Monday to Friday with daily one hour lunch break

For three decades, Artangel has produced extraordinary art in unexpected places in our London home, across the UK and around the world.  We produce art that challenges perceptions, surprises, inspires and wouldn’t be possible within the confines of a gallery.

Reporting to the Director, the Managing Director will join Artangel in a vital role at the heart of the Senior Management Team, and will be responsible for the organisation’s administration, finances and resources.

With a proven track record of delivery in senior leadership roles, alongside an entrepreneurial approach, the Managing Director will actively support the Director in realising their vision for the organisation, and in their work with artists, staff, the Board and key stakeholders (funders, patrons, and partners).

The Managing Director is both a leader and a team player who works closely with the Director to ensure the long-term success of Artangel.
