JOB DESCRIPTION
Position Identification

- Location: Santiago.
- Type of Contract: Permanent employment contract.
- Work Schedule: 40 hours per week, subject to shifts.
General Description
Coordinates, supervises, and effectively executes artistic and cultural activities for GAM’s programming. Ensures proper national and international circulation. Participates in the selection and curation of the annual program. Leads inclusion and diversity projects.
Specific Functions
- Coordinate and supervise GAM’s artistic and cultural programming.
- Support and monitor interdepartmental processes and content development.
- Act as a liaison with artists.
- Co-design artistic and cultural projects, including festivals, events, and special projects.
- Participate in the selection processes for artistic and cultural calls.
- Coordinate the call process with external parties and other areas.
- Lead the relationship with artistic teams and internal GAM teams.
- Monitor agreements, contracts, and work processes as required by each project.
- Support the relationship between artistic teams and GAM’s interdepartmental teams.
- Identify needs and requirements promptly.
- Oversee and support information management for contracts, artist profiles, technical sheets, and communications.
- Perform administrative and management tasks.
- Prepare documents, reports, and materials to systematize and improve area management.
- Co-design institutional, artistic, community, and participation protocols and projects.
- Promote social inclusion.
- Coordinate national and international programming and circulation projects.
- Support the artistic residency processes in the area.
- Communicate programming content to GAM’s interdepartmental teams through regular meetings.
- Co-design artistic and cultural programming content with Outreach and Mediation, Studies, and Library teams.
- Attend shows, concerts, fairs, exhibitions, and cultural activities to stay informed about the current state of art and culture in Chile and Latin America.
- Regularly attend premieres and performances at GAM and other theaters, halls, cultural centers, and festivals.
- Contribute to institutional development with a critical, creative, and artistic perspective.
- Enhance strategic alliances with creative agents.
- Collaborate with all GAM areas: production, technical, communications, studies, library, outreach, mediation, among others.
- Represent GAM in institutional programmatic instances at national and international levels.
