The V&A Museum of Childhood in Bethnal Green is part of the V&A family of museums and holds in trust for society the nation’s finest and largest childhood collections. We welcome around 430,000 visitors every year to our inspiring exhibitions, learning programme and special events.

We are looking for an inspiring leader with a proven track record, curatorial flair and intellectual reputation in a relevant field, and demonstrable skills in managing a team and delivering projects successfully. You will be proactive in working with audiences and will embrace a design-led approach to curatorial practice that drives forward the renewed museum to amplify thinking and practice through collaborations, partnerships, publications, knowledge sharing and networks across local, national and international contexts.

Subsequent to the successful realisation of the MoC Futureplan project the post holder will be responsible for leading all aspects of curatorial and content planning for the renewed museum.

First round interviews will be held on 7 March 2019
