This practical course gives you the tools to showcase your body of work online in a cohesive and engaging way by using key design principles that bring your practice to life.
Presenting your creative practice online in the best possible light is integral to building your career, enriching networks and leaving a lasting impression. This course is for artists, curators and creators in general who would like to learn design skills to effectively present their work online.
You will be guided through the steps of developing a visual identity, including how to document and digitize your materials; how to select and curate your content; how to manipulate color, image, typography and layout; as well as how to choose which digital platforms to use and to design specifically for each one.
Through exercises and personalised feedback, by the end of the course you will have developed a distinctive visual identity for the digital realm that reflects who you are and what you do.
*No previous design skills are needed. During the course, we will work with the free graphic design app Canva and any photo editing software or app of your choice.
