Create London is looking for a Senior Curator to oversee, plan and manage its programme of artist projects. This currently includes artists’ residencies, public realm commissions, workshops and events across a range of disciplines. This is a key role at Create London and requires an experienced curator and confident communicator who is able to think and work outside gallery settings and with a wide variety of partners. This cannot be overemphasised – working as a curator with Create London involves working in settings and with partners outside of formal cultural spaces. Equally, our commitment to establishing long term projects and working in partnership with communities means that a collaborative and entrepreneurial approach is particularly important.
Create London is an arts organisation dedicated to making long-term projects that are useful to society. We curate, commission and produce work that reimagines the role of the artist in the city, finding new and often surprising ways for art to become part of daily life.
