This is your chance to bring your knowledge and experience of working with people in an educational, community, museum or gallery context to this exciting role at Tate St Ives. You’ll use your planning and communication skills to work with artists developing new commissions and support high profile speakers in bringing their ideas and enthusiasm to Tate St Ives audiences. As Assistant Learning Curator, working with Learning Curator, Public Programmes you will liaise with speakers and artists in the development of events including Late at Tate, The Last Weekend and Morning Music.
The Public Programme at Tate St Ives works with musicians, artists, historians, performance artists, poets, filmmakers and more. We are looking for applicants with enthusiasm for all art forms who are motivated to find ways of attracting audiences as well as providing stimulating and accessible content.
Skilled in managing your own workload you will be comfortable working with administrative and financial systems, co-ordinating projects through managing multiple resources, including staff, volunteers and all technical requirements. Support for the role is through line management by Learning Curator, Public Programmes, you will work together to plan events and approaches to external contacts. Whether you have a degree in art, education, or equivalent, you will have a strong commitment to the work of Tate and be part of a team developing programme for all audiences.
