Summer Internship (Curatorial Aide)

The AOC is accepting applications for multiple Curatorial Aide summer internships that offer skill enrichment and experiential learning while promoting careers in the public service.

Responsibilities

Curatorial Aide: A Curatorial Aide for the Curator’s Office is needed to assist with the hanging of the congressional art exhibition for 3 weeks in June. The Curatorial Aide will also provide basic office support, including answering phones, scanning conservation reports, performing data entry, and assisting with filing. May also assist with researchers. There may be some opportunity for small, independent research or archival projects.

To be eligible, you must be a current student who meets the following requirements:

Applications will be accepted from college students who are at least sixteen (16) years of age by June 30, 2021 AND currently attending college or university.

Qualifications

All students must be U.S. Citizens.

Students must be at least sixteen (16) years of age by June 30, 2021 and currently attending a college or university.

Students must have a major in art history, art, museum studies, historic preservation, or other field related to the position being filled.

Education

To be eligible, you must be a current student who meets the following requirements:
