2021 CCI Fellowship programs
The Caribbean Cultural Institute (CCI) Fellowship program fosters art projects and research that advance Caribbean art and scholarship. Through a series of research and artistic fellowships, the initiative cultivates new ideas that challenge traditional conceptions of Caribbean art, generates innovative study on the region, and reflects upon the contemporary state of Caribbean art and thought. This program is for artists, cultural practitioners, and scholars from the Caribbean and the Caribbean diaspora whose projects would benefit from access to PAMM’s institutional resources.
Applicants based in the state of Florida are also encouraged to apply for the Local Research or Artist Fellowship. Depending on each proposal’s needs, the program will provide between $5,000 and $10,000 to develop each fellowship project. This amount will cover stipends and project–related costs. Projects must be realized during Fall 2021 and Winter 2022.
CCI Fellows are encouraged to participate in PAMM-sponsored events and engage with the local community through public programs related to each fellow’s personal practice and interests.
