We also have a second space, The Curve, which is dedicated to a vibrant programme of new commissions by leading international artists.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for two Assistant Exhibition Organisers to join our Visual Arts team. The Assistant Exhibition Organisers will be working closely with the Visual Arts team and Exhibition Manager to provide support to the programme of exhibitions, commissions, publications and events. We are looking for individuals with a passion for visual arts and exhibitions, and an interest or some experience of working in an art field or museum.
• You will have the ability to multitask and work to tight deadlines maintaining a calm, ordered approach
• You will have excellent word processing skills (familiarity with Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook and Excel), general office experience and a good telephone manner
• You will be able to demonstrate diplomacy, flexibility, an ability to get on well with people and have a professional attitude; the ability to work independently and in a team
• You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills
The Visual Arts team is currently working remotely, and once the Centre reopens, we are intending to have a blended model of part working in the office and part remotely. If you need flexibility in how you work, we will do our best to accommodate it.
