The Department of Art at Goldsmiths is hiring for an entry level post on its BA Fine Art Extension Degree programme. The Fine Art Extension Degree is a preparatory programme designed specifically for the needs of international students enabling them to gain the skills required to progress to and participate fully in either our BA in Fine Art or our BA in Fine Art and History of Art programmes. Our Fine Art BA Degrees are among the leading undergraduate Fine Art Programmes in the world.
We are looking for a professional in the field of art with a record of international standing who will have some experience of teaching in art school. The post involves joining a team that works flexibly within a context of student-centred learning and you will be expected to make a significant contribution to the teaching. We expect you to sustain an engagement with your own practice and show a responsive and creative approach to the varied and specific needs of these international, predominantly bilingual students on this strongly student-centred programme.
