About the Project

Together There is a creative thought residency and ecosystem building effort to collectively envision a caring and just digital future led with, by, and for equity-seeking creators, curators, educators, and producers in Canadian arts and culture. Together There is generously supported by Canada Council for the Arts’ Digital Strategy Fund.

Featured activities in 2022-23 include an online co-creation thought residency (Jun to Nov 2022), human-centered design knowledge workshops for the wider community (Sep to Dec 2022), and an international symposium (Winter/Spring 2023).

About the Roles

We are currently seeking 4 Thought Residency Curators, 4 Symposium Curators, and 4 Working Leads to support the co-design, implementation and evaluation of the project. Applications are welcome from arts workers residing anywhere in Canada from the following four priority groups:

Major responsibilities for the three job opportunities include:

1) Curators, Digital Justice Creative Thought Residency (4 positions)

This is a flexible, part-time, freelance (non-employee) contract. Compensation is a flat fee at maximum $10,625 per position. The positions remain open until filled. Desired start time is between mid-March and early April 2022 until January 2023.

2) Curators, Digital Justice Symposium (4 positions)

This is a flexible, part-time, freelance (non-employee) contract. Compensation is a flat fee at maximum $10,625 per position. The positions remain open until filled. Desired start time is between May and June 2022 with the majority of work happening in Fall 2022.

3) Working Leads (4 positions)

This is a flexible, part-time, freelance (non-employee) contract from Spring 2022 to Winter 2023. Compensation is maximum $22,500 per position at a living wage of $28 to $38 per hour according to the skills and capacities of the incumbents. The positions remain open until filled. Desired start time is between late March to late April 2022.
