Are you an artist or curator longing for space to work, think, reflect and research? 1646 is offering a fully funded residency to support innovative practices and develop global networks between August 18 and October 18, 2023. This residency is not focused on producing an end result, but on providing space for research/work/reflection and getting familiar with the context of The Hague and The Netherlands.
What you get: 1646 offers a fully funded residency (incl. €1500 fee, €1000 production budget and €600 for an event), along a studio space and private acommodation. Furthermore, the artist-in-residence is introduced to the network of 1646 and their work will be featured in 1646’s communication channels. Although the residency is not focused on an end result, the artist-in-residence is invited to do a public event, the form of which can be worked out in conversation with 1646.
