The Chester Beatty is pleased to offer a permanent, full-time Curator of East Asian Collections position.
The primary purpose of this role is to manage the Chester Beatty’s East Asian Collections ensuring the rigorous implementation of documentation, cataloging and data cleaning, aligning with sectoral best practice; to undertake research on the collections including provenance research and due diligence, and for the purpose of exhibitions, web content, public programmes and publications; to deliver access to the collections including by responding to public enquiries; and working with colleagues in the Education Department by leading and participating in public programmes.
The Curator will also support wider museum activities, working collegially across departments and areas within the museum. They will be part of the Management Team at the Chester Beatty and consequently have responsibilities regarding business planning and reporting.
Salary range: €70,504 per annum
