At the Art History Institute of the University of Cologne, a 0.5 research assistant position is to be filled by October 1st, 2023 in the field of medieval or non-European premodern art history, initially limited to 3 years.
YOUR TASKS
– Independent research activity to complete a doctorate or develop a postdoc project
– Courses ( 2 SWS ) in the courses of the KHI and possibly the Medieval Master
– Participation in the self-administration of the institute
– Support of the professorship
YOUR PROFILE
– University of science with a completed or advanced doctorate in the field of medieval or non-European pre-modern art
– Proven interest in medieval art history
– Team, communication and enthusiasm as well as didactic competence
– Interdisciplinary understanding and enjoyment of cooperation in an interdisciplinary team
– Very good knowledge of English; further language skills especially of Spanish or Arabic are desired. Applicants from abroad are expected to acquire German language skills.
