The Operations Assistant will assume various tasks that pertain to the administrative and organisational operations of Forensic Architecture (FA).
The successful candidate will have experience in a similar role within an administrative capacity, ideally within higher education. The applicant will be joining a small team of researchers working on a frontier research project that mobilises architectural techniques and technologies to reconstruct incidents of violations of human rights, war crimes and environmental destruction worldwide.
The Operations Assistant will need to be organised and reliable, have a keen eye for detail, and will enjoy working as part of a team. Demonstrably strong written and interpersonal communication in English is essential and experience with writing social media and web-based content and managing social media accounts would be a significant advantage. Editorial and/or curatorial experience would also be an asset. With the ability to work independently and proactively, they will have the confidence to deal with a wide variety of people, prioritise competing deadlines, and comprehend complex situations quickly.
