Job Description
Join our team and contribute to the implementation of disability and inclusive arts programs and collaborations as an Arts Programme Officer/Assistant Officer. You will actively contribute to developing initiatives that align with the mission of Arts with the Disabled Association Hong Kong, which is “Arts are for EVERYONE.”
Responsibilities
Program Coordination and Production
- Assist the Manager, Arts Programme in coordinating and producing various arts programs, including online programs, performances, exhibitions, workshops, seminars, and research.
Content Development
- Write, translate, edit, and proofread bilingual publications, marketing materials, communication content, and web and social media content.
Online Program Support
- Support video production for online programs.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Engage various stakeholders, including individuals with or without disabilities, artists, and art groups.
Event Participation
- Be flexible to work and attend events, including those outside of regular office hours.
Assigned Tasks
- Perform any tasks assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements
To excel in this role, you should have:
- A university degree with at least two years of relevant experience in Arts and Cultural, Humanities, Journalism, or related fields.
- Knowledge of the local and international performing and visual arts scene.
- Strong proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese, with competence in Putonghua and other languages considered a plus.
- Excellent project management skills, with meticulous attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, responsible, adaptable, with tactful communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office, familiarity with design software, and video editing skills would be advantageous.
Candidates with less experience will be considered for the Assistant Officer role.
