Gallery Manager
Company Introduction
M Contemporary introduces innovative art concepts, shaping the future through curated exhibitions featuring domestic and international artists. We play a vital role in popularizing the art market by actively scouting talent from various backgrounds. Our commitment extends to hosting exhibitions of renowned contemporary artists, contributing to the global advancement of art and culture.
Our Journey
M Contemporary inaugurated its first gallery in Gangnam, Seoul, South Korea, in 2020. In December 2021, we expanded our horizons with a branch in Busan, South Korea, venturing into new markets. Building on our success, we unveiled a new venture, “Next Museum,” within Lotte Tower in Jamsil, Seoul, South Korea, in December 2022.
Art Beyond Boundaries
M Contemporary thrives on experimentation, transcending conventional genre limitations to offer a refreshing art experience. Our vision is to evolve into a gallery with a distinct aesthetic sensibility, achieved through ongoing dialogues and research involving talented artists and curators.
Connecting Asia’s Art Scene
Starting in the latter half of 2023, we are actively establishing collaborations with galleries across Asia through Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs). This initiative aims to create a diverse environment by fostering connections between emerging artists and facilitating the export of domestic talent.
Beyond Exhibitions
In addition to exhibitions, we aspire to enrich everyday life with the joy of art. We achieve this through artist lectures, digital art presentations, and other experiences that were traditionally rare to find in galleries. M Contemporary is dedicated to becoming a prominent gallery representing Korea and will persistently strive in that direction.
