Job Description

This role demands both independent and collaborative work to bring projects and exhibitions to life, from ideation to completion.

Responsibilities

Grant Proposals and Budgeting

• Prepare and write grant proposals, including budget and timeline assistance
• Manage cash flows for projects

Collaborative Liaison

• Coordinate with multiple partners on project and exhibition specifics

Content Creation

• Craft and edit exhibition descriptions and press releases

Exhibition Curation Assistance

• Aid in exhibition curation, including material retrieval, research, and correspondence

Rights and Permissions

• Secure permissions and copyright clearance for multimedia materials
• Maintain precise credit lines

Outreach and Event Management

• Connect with schools and organizations for ongoing initiatives
• Organize and oversee events, including performances and talks

Documentation

• Capture photos and videos of exhibitions and events

Additional Duties

• Perform other assigned job-related tasks

Qualifications and Work Experience

• Master’s Degree in various related disciplines
• Some art-related work experience
• Proficiency in English and Cantonese; Mandarin skills are a plus
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and various software tools
• Strong writing and editing abilities
• Self-motivated with initiative
• Excellent oral communication and public speaking skills
• Detail-oriented with high accuracy and effective problem-solving abilities
• Proficient in various software tools, including Adobe Photoshop, Premiere, Illustrator, SketchUp, and more
• Minimum 2 years of work experience
