The Opportunity
The Pew Center seeks a dynamic Director of Performance to lead project grantmaking and programming for the performing arts in Greater Philadelphia. This strategic administrator will impact the cultural ecosystem, working closely with the senior leadership team and the Executive Director to shape the Center’s vision and agenda.
Responsibilities
- Lead, manage, and monitor program aspects aligned with the Center’s mission.
- Develop strategies that cultivate artistic excellence, overseeing grant-making processes, and enhancing regional cultural engagement.
- Assess needs of Greater Philadelphia’s arts community and devise strategies within Pew’s framework.
- Act as the face of the Performance Program, maintaining public relations, building relationships, and ensuring access to eligible organizations and artists.
- Strengthen relationships with local, national, and international arts and cultural resources.

Compensation & Benefits
Salary: $125,000 to $155,000 with competitive benefits offered through the University of the Arts, including healthcare, dental, vision, retirement plans, paid time off, hybrid remote work model, and more.
