Open Call for International Cultural Relations Experts
The Cultural Relations Platform (CRP) seeks international experts in cultural relations and cooperation for a short-term project. The task involves developing learning materials for international cultural relations training. These materials will serve staff of global EU Delegations and European Institutions, primarily in Brussels.
Recruitment Period and Work Conditions
- Duration: February to June 2024
- Work Mode: Remote work is available
- Eligibility: Open to experts worldwide
Responsibilities
Experts will create online training materials in the form of digital modules. These modules will cover various aspects of international cultural relations.
Required Expertise
Applicants should have experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Culture and Public Diplomacy
- Culture in Creative Industries for Economic Growth
- Culture’s role in Conflict Prevention and Peacebuilding
- Youth and Culture
- Culture and Sustainable Development
- Social Cohesion through Culture
- Culture in Human Rights and Freedom of Speech
- Intercultural Dialogue and Cultural Awareness
- Addressing Disinformation through Culture
- Protecting Cultural Heritage in Conflict Zones
Additionally, candidates should demonstrate:
- Experience in developing content related to international cultural relations
- Ability to provide best practice case studies
- A global or cross-cultural perspective
- Familiarity with EU-related actions, policies, and initiatives (preferred)
Expert Profile
Senior Expert Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of post-graduate experience in relevant fields
- Expertise in at least one of the specified topics
- Knowledge of EU policies and initiatives in cultural relations (advantageous)
- Proven skills in data collection, research, and reporting
- Experience in research coordination, monitoring, and evaluation
- Excellent command of English
- Knowledge of languages of the specified countries (valued)
