Call for Application
The Austrian Federal Ministry for Arts, Culture, Civil Service, and Sport at Q21/MuseumsQuartier Vienna invites applications for the Cultural Work Trainee Program Kosovo-Austria 2024. This program supports five cultural workers or artists from Kosovo, providing them internships at a major art institution or art project in Vienna for two months each. Additionally, the program includes a 6th scholarship for an artist from Kosovo in January and February.
This initiative aims to help young cultural workers (up to 40 years old) from Kosovo gain firsthand work experience at Austria’s leading art initiatives. The program includes an internship and personal mentoring, with support from the Q21/MuseumsQuartier team.
Offerings for Each Residency Participant
- 2-month internship at an art institution or project in Vienna
- Studio flat in Q21/MuseumsQuartier Vienna’s historic building
- Monthly scholarship of EUR 1,300 (totaling EUR 2,600 for two months)
- Reimbursement of travel expenses up to EUR 500
Your Tasks
- Actively participate in the 2-month internship tailored to each participant’s program.
Insurance
Applicants must arrange their own health and travel insurance during their stay in Austria.

- Applications accepted in English only

General Requirements
- Completed university degree or specialized education
- Minimum three years of work experience in the relevant field
- Proficiency in English or German for international engagement
