Introduction
The Center for Artistic and Cultural Extension at the University of Chile is seeking a Head of Communications. This role involves crafting and executing a comprehensive communications strategy. It covers the CEAC, its four ensembles, and the University of Chile Theater.
Purpose and Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning: Develop a strategic plan aligning with the institution’s mission and CEAC’s guidelines.
- Digital Presence: Maintain and enhance the digital platforms for CEAC and its groups through effective marketing strategies.
- Performance Analysis: Produce reports on the communications area’s performance.
- Visibility Tactics: Create and coordinate communication tactics to highlight CEAC’s activities to various stakeholders.
- Crisis Communication: Develop communication strategies for crisis management.
- Content Production: Oversee the creation of communication materials like press releases, graphics, and spokesperson guidelines.
- Content Direction: Manage content for seasonal magazines, program brochures, websites, and promotional materials.
- Partnership Management: Handle relationships with media partners, university departments, and other collaborators.
- Alliance Building: Forge new partnerships to increase visibility for CEAC and its ensembles.
- Team Leadership: Lead the communications team, ensuring goal achievement.
- Additional Duties: Perform other relevant tasks as assigned by management.
Job Conditions
- Location: Santiago, at CEAC’s premises.
- Contract Type: Initial 3-month probationary period, with the potential for extension.
- Work Hours: Full-time, 44 hours per week, Monday to Friday, from 9:30 am to 6:30 pm. Occasional extra hours may be required.
