Job Summary
The Educational Programs Coordinator plays a crucial role in furthering the museum’s mission by developing and managing a wide range of public programs and activities. These programs aim to engage diverse audiences, fostering an environment of inspiration and learning that aligns with the museum’s exhibitions and collections.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement public programs that complement the museum’s exhibitions and collections.
- Collaborate with various partners to create multidisciplinary programs, including artist demonstrations, community discussions, and workshops.
- Develop initiatives to boost visitor engagement and membership value.
- Craft promotional materials for programs and evaluate their impact to enhance visitor experiences and meet institutional objectives.
- Coordinate program logistics, including ticketing and scheduling, to ensure seamless execution.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in developing and coordinating arts programs, with a knack for innovation and quality.
- Engagement with contemporary local arts scenes across various disciplines.
- Availability for evening and weekend work, with a strong commitment to public service.
- Proficient in using digital tools for public engagement and excellent communication skills.
