The Role
YBCA seeks a dedicated Program Manager for its Arts Internship Program. This role involves leading the program, coordinating logistics, and ensuring its success. The program offers San Francisco high school seniors paid internships at top arts and cultural institutions, enhancing their professional skills and college readiness.
Key Responsibilities
- Program Management: Oversee the Arts Internship program, ensuring smooth operation and meeting objectives.
- Logistics: Manage intern placements and coordinate with partners, mentors, and vendors.
- Recruitment: Attract high school seniors and establish partnerships with local arts organizations.
- Curriculum Development: Collaborate on educational content, including workshops and field trips.
- Evaluation: Implement feedback processes for continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- Experience in program management within arts, culture, or nonprofit sectors.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work with diverse stakeholders and adapt to changing priorities.
Compensation and Benefits
The position offers a competitive salary of $83,000 annually, with comprehensive benefits including PTO, medical, dental, and vision insurance, and a 403(b) retirement plan with match.
