Fotografiska is situated at 281 Park Avenue South, New York. This six-floor, 45,000 sq ft historic landmark combines world-class art, cultural programming, and exceptional dining. Past exhibitions have featured works by renowned artists such as David LaChapelle and Andy Warhol.

Role Summary
The Director of Exhibitions leads the planning, development, and execution of the exhibition program. This role involves curating local exhibitions, adapting touring exhibitions for the New York audience, and collaborating with the global exhibitions team. Responsibilities include budget management, artist liaison, and coordination with internal teams and external partners.

Key Responsibilities and Requirements
The role demands strategic collaboration with executive leadership to curate fine art and photography exhibitions. The Director oversees the New York exhibition schedule, balancing artistic content with pop cultural appeal. They are responsible for proposing new exhibitions, maintaining brand presence in the US cultural community, and ensuring exhibitions are executed to the highest standards. The position requires a deep understanding of the New York photography scene, a strong network in the art world, and a minimum of 10 years of management experience in a creative setting.
