About the Fellowship
The NARS Foundation invites applications for the Curatorial Fellowship program, running from July to December 2024 at the Sunset Park, Brooklyn location. The fellow will collaborate with artists-in-residence and staff to create exhibitions for the NARS Galleries.
Fellowship Overview
Curators will engage with two groups of International Residency Artists over six months, developing an exhibition for each group. Exhibitions will showcase during the last month of each residency season. The role includes conducting studio visits, crafting a cohesive exhibition plan, and writing press releases. A $3,000 stipend supports the fellow’s contributions over this period.
Commitment and Benefits
Fellows are required to work onsite for two days weekly, offering a platform to engage with diverse artistic practices. This fellowship aims to enrich the curator’s experience and broaden the cultural narratives within the art community.
