Deadline for submission: June 15th, 2024
We invite female activists to apply for the second edition of a seven-day women’s activist retreat in Utrine, Serbia, in July 2024.
Purpose
Last year’s Grounding retreat highlighted the need to regularly organize this program. The aim is to gather the community, empower female activists, and share knowledge and experiences.
Importance
Empowering and supporting female activists, artists, cultural managers, and project coordinators is crucial. These women often work in precarious conditions and face burnout. They lead initiatives that can affect their mental and physical health. This retreat offers a space to renew energy and find grounding in a supportive environment.

We will select 12 female participants who meet the following criteria:
- Female activist, cultural worker, artist, cultural manager, or project coordinator.
- Desire to reconnect and restore.
- Interested in connecting with like-minded women.

- Engaged with or want to engage with their community.
- Willing to share and try out new practices in a safe space.
