Position Summary
OCA is looking for a Communications Advisor with a strong interest in Contemporary Art and a commitment to promoting art and culture programs to audiences both nationally and internationally. The successful candidate will develop and implement content across various platforms, ensuring it meets high-quality standards and aligns with OCA’s communication strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Create content for all digital platforms (social media, website, etc.)
- Use Adobe Creative Cloud or similar software
- Document events and OCA activities using video, photo, and audio
- Design graphics based on OCA’s templates
- Use CMS platforms (OCA uses Craft CMS)
- Create and send newsletters (OCA uses MAKE for newsletters)
- Demonstrate general digital competence (Microsoft 365, Slack, Trello, etc.)

- Strong personal qualities are emphasized
- Evening and weekend work required
- Salary negotiable
- Desired start date: Week 33
Qualifications
- Education in Communications, Journalism, Design, or Art History
- Experience with digital tools and publishing platforms
- Photography and video production skills
- Clear, creative, and concise writing style
- English proficiency required; Norwegian skills desirable
