About the Fellowship
The Tilting Axis Fellowship 2025 supports Caribbean-based researchers, designers, writers, curators, or cultural producers. The fellowship offers an opportunity to develop research and practice while engaging with Dutch cultural institutions in Rotterdam and Amsterdam.
Eligibility
Applicants must be based in the Caribbean and demonstrate a high level of creativity and critical thought in fields related to architecture, design, or digital culture. No age limit or degree requirement is specified.
Resources and Activities
- €12,000 stipend for living expenses
- One round-trip airfare to the Netherlands
- Maximum €800 monthly accommodation reimbursement
- Collaborations with cultural institutions
- Presentations, essays, and potential installations or exhibitions
Application Process
Applications must include:
- A 3-minute introductory video
- A 1000-word written proposal
- Documentation of previous work
Deadlines
Applications open on May 30, 2024, and close on June 30, 2024. Shortlisted candidates will be interviewed on July 10-11, 2024.
