Job Details
Schedule: Full-time, 35 hours/week, hybrid (3 days onsite)
Salary: $28.92 – $34.71 per hour (adjusted to $29.79 – $35.75 per hour from 7/1/24)
Location: San Francisco, 151 3rd Street
Responsibilities
- Support the Curator and Head of Photography.
- Manage Accessions program tasks, including scheduling, data input, and correspondence.
- Assist with exhibitions and the permanent collection.
- Handle administrative projects, PowerPoint presentations, and correspondence.
- Facilitate external communication and departmental workflow.
- Coordinate special events and departmental meetings.
- Maintain physical and electronic files.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Art History or related field with an emphasis on Photography.
- Minimum two years of museum experience.
- Strong writing, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Asana, and database management.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
