Role Description
The Whose Heritage 3.0 Curatorial Fellow is a 12-month, part-time, fixed-term role funded jointly by Royal Museums Greenwich and Culture&. This position supports Culture&’s aim to diversify curatorial practice and workforce. Fellows are expected to commit to creating inclusive cultural experiences with Royal Museums Greenwich and Culture&.
Key Responsibilities
- Build access and engagement with the fine and decorative art collections.
- Develop inclusive interpretations that connect historical collections to contemporary issues.
- Conduct independent research and quickly acquire knowledge on new topics.
- Make academic ideas accessible to a general audience.
Candidate Profile
- Experience in independent research related to fine and decorative art collections.
- Ability to engage diverse audiences with academic or theoretical ideas.
- Commitment to diversity and inclusion in cultural experiences.
