Company Overview
Photoworks champions photography for everyone. As a registered arts charity, it has provided opportunities for artists and audiences since 1995, working across the UK and internationally. Though Photoworks does not have a physical venue, its online channels are always open.
The programme offers new experiences and ways to encounter photography through exhibitions, events, publications, artist commissions, residencies, and a digital and learning programme. Photoworks is the only organisation with a national remit for photography in England.
The team works remotely, with a small office in central Brighton, partnering with organisations and venues across the UK. The team comprises eight full-time and part-time staff, supported by freelancers and artist facilitators.
