Job Description

The Interactive Knowledge Center seeks a Touring and Outreach Activities Producer to manage and produce outreach events, workshops, and tours developed by the center in Santiago and other regions.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee pre-production, on-site production, and post-production tasks for events and activities both within the museum and externally.
Develop proposals, breakdowns, execution plans, and evaluations for outreach activities.
Manage logistics for traveling exhibits and MIM Mobile.
Coordinate with various institutions for implementing outreach activities.
Produce technical visits and supervise traveling exhibitions and MIM Mobile installations.
Coordinate on-site events, workshops, and touring activities.
Handle production logistics for CIC activities.
Manage suppliers, quotes, purchase orders, and ensure service delivery.
Follow purchasing procedures required by the Foundation and monitor payment of contracted services.
Support Foundation activities as required by management.

Desired Profile

Higher Technical/University education in Cultural Management or Production in cultural spaces/museums.
Minimum of 5 years of work experience.
Expertise in event production, supplier management, project management, and reporting.
Cultural management experience in cultural spaces or museums.
Proficiency in MS Office, AUTOCAD, or other design tools for installations.
Availability to travel within and outside the Metropolitan Region.

Working Conditions

40-hour workweek
3-month fixed-term contract (renewable), followed by an indefinite contract
Benefits: lunch in the cafeteria, administrative days, parking, transportation allowance, and others
Salary: $1.440.000 gross per month
