Overview of the Position
The Senior Events Coordinator is a full-time, permanent role in the Finance, Corporate Services, and Enterprises Department. This position supports the Venue & Events Team in managing commercial and private venue hires, as well as internal events. The successful candidate will ensure that all events align with the Museum’s values and strategic vision.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage the delivery of events in collaboration with various Museum departments, including Corporate Partnerships, Philanthropy, the Leadership Team, Venues, Marketing, and the Engagement Team.
- Ensure smooth and efficient operations of all events.
- Apply excellent communication and negotiation skills to facilitate successful events.
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail in all aspects of event coordination.
- Handle hands-on tasks and attend events, including late nights during busy periods.
