A renowned regional gallery in the Southern Highlands is seeking a Creative Learning Manager to lead the development and delivery of its Creative Learning Program. This full-time position focuses on promoting arts education through visual arts experiences and outreach programs. The role includes managing school education programs, public events, and developing educational resources while working closely with external stakeholders such as schools and community organizations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement Creative Learning Programs in line with the gallery’s strategic goals.
- Lead educational outreach programs for all age groups, ensuring alignment with NSW curriculum outcomes.
- Manage program logistics, including correspondence, marketing, and budgeting.
- Collaborate with artists, education assistants, and external stakeholders to deliver high-quality programs.
- Ensure adherence to Work Health Safety and Child Protection policies.
Qualifications:
- Degree in visual arts/art history, education, or equivalent experience (minimum 5 years).
- Proven experience in developing educational programs for a range of audiences.
- Strong communication, planning, and organizational skills.
- First aid certification, NSW Class C Driver’s License, National Police Clearance, and Working with Children Check.
Contract Type:
Full-time (Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm), with occasional weekend and after-hours events.
