The 421 Residency Program offers a five-month multidisciplinary residency designed for creative practitioners who require studio space and time to experiment without the pressure of producing a final outcome. The program is divided into two cohorts: February-June 2025 and July-November 2025, and will take place at the artist studios at 421 Arts Campus, MiZa, Abu Dhabi.
Eligibility:
- Open to creative practitioners in disciplines such as Visual Arts, Curation, Design, Technology, Music, Literary Arts, Culinary Arts, Performance, Theater, and others.
- Applicants must be over 21 and not enrolled in a degree program during the residency.
- Open to creative practitioners from West Asia, North Africa, and South Asia regions.
Residency Benefits Include:
- Private studio space
- Living space and round trip travel for non-Abu Dhabi residents
- Stipend/per diem
- Production budget
