Overview
The Bibliothek Andreas Züst invites duos and collectives (up to 5 members) from all cultural disciplines to apply for its Studio Residency Stipend for summer 2025. The six-week residency offers participants the opportunity to engage with the Bibliothek Andreas Züst’s collection and surroundings for research and creative exploration.

The residency emphasizes projects that interact with the library’s collection or one of its sub-areas, celebrating libraries as spaces of knowledge and diversity.
Facilities and Support
- Accommodations in the Alpenhof Panorama Lodge with private bedrooms and shared studio spaces.
- Access to the Bibliothek Andreas Züst, dining and living rooms, and quiet work areas.
- Free meals and use of the studio.
- Travel costs covered.
- Optional living cost subsidy of up to CHF 750 (upon separate request).
The Alpenhof offers a tranquil setting at 1,110 m.a.s.l., overlooking the Rhine Valley and Lake Constance, providing an ideal retreat for work, exchange, and inspiration.
Application Requirements
Applications must be submitted as a single PDF file (max. 7 MB) and include:
- Completed application form.
- Statement of purpose (max. 1 A4 page).
- Documentation of previous work (max. 5 pages).
- CVs of all collaborators.
- Motivation for working as a collective (max. 1 A4 page).
Only complete applications will be considered.
Selection Process
Results will be announced by end of January 2025.
