The International Studio & Curatorial Program (ISCP) is now accepting applications for its Spring 2025 internship program. This opportunity is designed for individuals passionate about the arts and cultural field, offering hands-on experience in a residency-based non-profit organization. Interns gain exposure to arts administration and connect with a global network of art professionals.
Details:
- Duration: Minimum of 16 hours (2 days) per week for at least 3 months.
- Compensation: $400 monthly stipend ($1,200 for the full program).
- Eligibility: Open to junior-year college students or higher, with eligibility to work in the United States.
- Application Deadline: December 20, 2024 (January 15, 2025, for Community Organizer role).
Internship Focus Areas:
- Executive Intern: Assist the Executive Director with tasks such as research, editing, project development, and donor stewardship.
- Communications Intern: Contribute to ISCP’s marketing strategy, including social media management, content creation, and photography (preferred but not required).
- Community Organizer Intern: Strengthen local community relations and promote inclusivity through outreach and cultural exchange. Spanish proficiency is preferred.
- Fundraising Intern: Develop proposals, reports, and assist with foundation and government funder research.
- Operations Intern: Support organizational operations, financial audits, and donor management.
- Programs – Residencies: Handle resident inquiries, applications, and event coordination.
- Programs – Public Programs: Research for talks, exhibitions, and resident programming.
- Facilities Intern: Gain experience in art installation and handling (currently not accepting applications for this role).
- Benefit Auction Intern: Assist with planning ISCP’s annual benefit auction (currently not accepting applications for this role).
