2025 Creative Europe call for European cooperation projects open

The European Cooperation Projects 2025 call, part of the Creative Europe Programme 2021-2027, supports transnational, non-profit cultural projects in the cultural and creative sectors (including visual arts, performing arts, architecture, design, fashion, music, literature, heritage, etc.). The initiative aims to strengthen the international presence of the European creative scene.
Key Priorities:
- Environmental Sustainability:
- The programme aims to support sustainable cultural practices. Guidelines have been developed to evaluate environmental sustainability in projects.
- Inclusion and Gender Equality:
- Projects should promote social inclusion and gender equality, aligning with EU strategies for the rights of persons with disabilities and gender equality.
- Digital Transition:
- Creative Europe continues to support projects that promote the digital transformation of cultural content, ensuring it is developed in line with European copyright standards.
- International Relations:
- Special support will be given to Ukrainian cultural operators and artists in light of the ongoing conflict with Russia.
Objectives:
- Objective 1: Strengthen the creation and transnational circulation of European works and artists.
- Objective 2: Enhance the capacity of the cultural sectors to promote talent, innovate, and create employment and growth.
Expected Impact:
- At least 130 projects will be supported, promoting cooperation and exchange between cultural organizations, fostering the European dimension of art creation, and supporting innovation in cultural practices.
Categories:
- Category 1 – Small-scale projects with at least 3 participating countries, a maximum grant of €200,000, and a co-financing rate of up to 80%.
- Category 2 – Medium-scale projects with at least 5 participating countries, a maximum grant of €1 million, and a co-financing rate of up to 70%.
- Category 3 – Large-scale projects with at least 10 participating countries, a maximum grant of €2 million, and a co-financing rate of up to 60%.
Eligibility:
- Open to both public and private organizations, with or without profit, that are legally established in one of the participating countries.
- Organizations leading the proposals must have been established for at least 2 years.
- A single organization can participate in a maximum of 3 applications (as a coordinator or partner).
- Countries: EU Member States and other countries that have signed participation agreements.
