The Kulturprojekte Berlin GmbH, a state-owned company supporting cultural promotion, networking, and mediation in Berlin, is organizing Berlin Art Week 2025. This flagship event, running from 10–14 September 2025, gathers key players of Berlin’s contemporary art scene at a temporary pop-up venue, offering a dynamic program of exhibitions, events, and special projects.
Your Responsibilities
- Editorial Support: Assist in both print and online editorial tasks for Berlin Art Week.
- Content Creation: Write texts, and edit and manage text and image content for a bilingual (German/English) online journal.
- Digital Management: Upload created content online and coordinate translations.
- Proofreading: Perform proofreading and editing of German texts.
- Production Assistance: Contribute to the production processes of printed materials.
- Scheduling: Update timelines, action plans, and editorial schedules.
- Communication: Liaise with team members and external partners (e.g., service providers and partners).
- Administrative Tasks: Support administrative duties and procurement processes (e.g., price research, request for proposals, drafting award documents).
Your Profile
- Experience: At least 4 years of specialized experience (including completed studies or equivalent training) in media, communications, journalism, or a related field.
- Editorial Background: Experience working in an editorial team (e.g., in a publishing house, magazine, or online platform).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with content management systems (e.g., WordPress) and standard office software.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with the Berlin art and cultural landscape.
- Language Skills: Excellent written and spoken German, with good English proficiency.
- Work Style: Structured, meticulous, and highly organized.
