“Bom Dia” Residency – Open Call

Part of the OASis Residency Program, “Bom Dia” invites international artists, researchers, and interdisciplinary practitioners to engage with Portugal’s vibrant local community while developing projects at the intersection of art, ecology, and sustainable futures. Selected residents will contribute to a group exhibition in 2027 and leave a lasting impact on Cultivamos Cultura’s collection.
What’s Offered
Funding:
- Artist fee: €1,300
- Travel grant: Up to €500
- Production budget: €1,600 (pre-approved expenses)
- Per diem for food
- Accommodation: Private room in a shared farmhouse.
- Workspace: Access to studios and natural surroundings.
- Support: Occasional mentorship + documentation for OASis platforms.
Expectations:
- Community interaction (workshops, talks, open studios).
- Final output for exhibition (installations, performances, workshops, etc.).
- Autonomy in project execution.
Eligibility
- Open to individuals worldwide working across disciplines (art, science, ecology, etc.).
- Projects should align with:
- Sustainability (use of local/natural materials).
- Community engagement.
- Interdisciplinary collaboration.
Selection Criteria
A jury of Cultivamos Cultura, OASis partners, and a community member will evaluate proposals based on:
- Originality
- Feasibility (resources/timeline)
- Ecological and social relevance
