Studios Coordinator – Somerset House Studios

Somerset House Studios is seeking a proactive, detail-oriented **Studios Coordinator** to support the operational and administrative needs of its vibrant artistic residency program. With up to 70 artists in residence at a time and a rich calendar of events, this role offers an exciting opportunity for someone looking to develop within an entry-level arts coordination position.
About the Position
- Coordinate day-to-day operations and administrative tasks for resident artists
- Act as a first point of contact for enquiries, supporting artist needs with care and responsiveness
- Work closely with the Residency Producer and Digital Programming teams
- Contribute to a dynamic and inclusive creative environment
- Play an essential role in organizing artist activities, contracts, events, and more
Eligibility
- Experience in administrative roles (including voluntary, educational, or extracurricular)
- Strong interest in the work of Somerset House Studios and contemporary arts
- Experience handling multiple priorities and deadlines
- Experience with communication, problem solving, and collaborative work
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail
- Excellent oral and written communication
- Ability to manage tasks independently and as part of a team
- Comfort using databases, spreadsheets, and general IT tools
- Proactive, adaptable, and solution-focused approach to coordination
